Hi! My name is Katie, and I’m a recent graduate of Ohio State University with a degree in Environmental Studies.

I have always been interested in the environment and its many facets. Growing up in Northeast Ohio, I was able to explore various parts of the region through hikes, bike rides, and visits to local parks.

In December 2017, I took a position as an environmental education specialist at Cuyahoga Valley National Park (CVNP). The opportunity to work at one of the most beautiful national parks in the country was too good to pass up!

One of my primary goals is to make CVNP more accessible for students and families who are interested in learning about nature. In addition to providing educational programming for school groups, I also lead arts and science camps during summer months.
